As a 3D artist, I specialize in the creation of high quality 3D characters for video games and cinematics within the mediums of concept, modeling, sculpting, texturing, and finalizing.  I am filled with great pride and joy in being able to bring a character to life through different artistic styles and genres.

 

My passion of 3D art began after I graduated from high school and went abroad to study in Hawaii.  While I was studying at Kapi’olani Community College, Square USA was just established on the island of Oahu.  That company made the movie, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within.  After watching the movie for the first time, I was amazed by the intricate computer graphics that were portrayed on screen and at that moment decided to major in animation.  I truly feel that movie changed my life immensely.  Pixar movies such as Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., and Finding Nemo have always captivated me and led me to my present passion of being a 3D artist.

 

During my profession, I feel very fortunate to be able to work on so many amazing projects and games.  I started my career as a Character Artist at Sprite Animation Studios in Hawaii.  The core members of this company came from Square USA!  How wonderful I felt to have fulfilled one of my greatest dreams that was of working with this incredible team!  Also, I received a great opportunity to work on various projects that included cinematics, television series, and feature films as a 3D Artist at Polygon Pictures in Japan.  Moreover, I’m so grateful to have been able to work on Game of War: Fire Age and Mobile Strike at Machine Zone that have been downloaded by 50M+ users and earned an average of $1M per day in sales, making it one of the top-grossing apps in 2014 to 2016!

Throughout my career, I feel very thankful to have collaborated with and learned from so many amazing artists that have given me the wonderful opportunity to grow and improve my art sense.  I look forward to inspiring others through sharing my passion of creating art.
